Wymeswold summer berries

Every year we look forward to the fruit farm opening, the strawberries always taste incredible, along with gooseberries, raspberries, red & white currants and the occasional logan berry. We really do have access to some of the finest produce available in Leicstershire quite literally on our door step, we go to the farm as a family and pick enough to last a couple of days, that way you are guaranteed the best flavour.

The boys are getting pretty expert at finding the best examples, currently on the menu we have this meringue nest in the shape of a bee hive, served with a honey & lemon curd, strawberry & fresh basil sorbet and fresh  strawberries.  It has been outselling all our other desserts, even the ever popular hot chocolate fondant with sea salt caramel.
